Shipping Policy

Shipping from Japan
All orders are shipped from our shop in Japan by Japan Post EMS (Express Mail Service). Every parcel is fully tracked, and a tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships.

Countries we ship to
We ship worldwide. We have shipped to customers in more than 10 countries, including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, South Africa, Israel, China, South Korea, Vietnam and Malaysia.

Preparation time
Each instrument is inspected and adjusted by our craftsman before shipping, so preparation may take a little longer than for ordinary items. We will let you know the estimated shipping date after your order.

Delivery time
Delivery usually takes about 1–3 weeks after shipping. Transit times vary by destination, transit routes and customs clearance in your country, so delivery may occasionally take longer.

Packaging
Instruments are carefully packed in a sturdy box made for long-distance shipping (for shamisen, approx. 107 × 34 × 18 cm).

Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the size and weight of your order.

Customs, duties and taxes
Prices on our store are exempt from Japanese consumption tax. Import duties, taxes and customs fees in your country are not included and are paid by the recipient on delivery. Please check your country's import rules before ordering.

Address
Please make sure your shipping address and phone number are correct. Japan Post and customs may need to contact you for delivery.

Damage or loss in transit
EMS includes tracking and compensation for loss or damage. If your parcel arrives damaged, please keep the box and packing materials, take photos, and contact us as soon as possible. We will help you with the claim.
